Good Morning Vietnam!
A surprising and fun tale happened on January 1st, 2020! My father and I were sitting in an outdoor shack (aptly names due to its structure), housed inside was the HAM Radio equipment.
We wanted to listen in on Venezuela, but the conditions weren’t right and there wasn’t a good enough skip. After rolling through channels, we picked up one frequency on 7.316.24 AM band, and it was in a foreign language, within a few minutes we came to realize the announcer said they’re broadcasting from the Taiwan / Vietnam area, and the conversation was focused on artificial intelligence and Taiwanese contributions.
I managed to snap this video of the ordeal, this was heard from the HAM shack, in Ontario, Canada.
