Weekly Update 32: Isolation Con!

It’s been a pretty eventful week, from breaking an entire backup by dropping the drive accidentally, to finally getting my own ASN directly from ARIN (IP space soon!). On the 19th, I’ll be speaking at Isolation Con hosted by The Many Hats Club (streamed online). I invite all my readers to come watch the entire conference!

I’m currently chunking away at my presentation and working on some brief demos I can give if there’s time. In the event there isn’t time, I’ll make them into a video for later.

In the near future when I’ve received my IPv4 and IPv6 assignments from ARIN, I’m going to be setting up BGP for both my AMPRNET (44/8) block, and my newly assigned blocks to be primary. With one leased block I currently have I’ll turn into an experimental network and run my own Anycast BGP, CDN nodes on it with Vultr. That should be some pretty fun projects coming down the pipe, for sure.

That’s all for this week, until next week!
